Happy Christmas Eve

I decided on only doing 24 days for blogmas so I could spend tomorrow with my family and I wanted to make my last post a little thank you to everyone who has read my blog this year, left wonderful comments and enjoyed blogmas. I never thought when I started my blog this year that anyone would actually read it but I am so glad and happy that people do. I love my blog because it gives me somewhere to be myself, to talk about anything and everything I love and I plan on writing even more next year.

Thank you for reading my ramblings on this little part of the internet and have an amazing Christmas. I thought I would end blogmas with a little poem about Christmas which I absolutely love.

Christmas Long Ago By Jo Geis

Frosty days and ice-still nights,

Fir trees trimmed with tiny light,

Sound of sleigh bells in the snow,

That was Christmas long ago.

Tykes on sleds and shouts of glee,

Icy-windows filigree,

Sugarplums and candles glow,

Part of Christmas long ago.

Footsteps stealthy on the stair,

Sweet-voiced carols in the air,

Stockings hanging in a row,

Tell of Christmas long ago.

Starry nights so still and blue,

Good friends calling out to you,

Life, so fact, will always slow…

For dreams of Christmas long ago.
